Extended Warranty
The statutory warranty often expires sooner than you'd like. That's why we offer the option to extend the warranty period for 1, 2, or 3 years on many of our products. You can choose to add this extended warranty when purchasing the product.
This warranty extension is an insurance product provided by Helvetia Versicherung-Aktiengesellschaft. It covers the financial consequences of technical faults caused by material, design, or manufacturing defects after the statutory warranty period expires. The insurance coverage is valid within Germany and for temporary travel worldwide. An exchange or voucher replacement is available once per insured device.
For more details, please refer to the General Terms and Conditions of Insurance (Allgemeinen Versicherungsbedingungen, AVB). Please note that, as with the regular statutory warranty, technical defects caused by external factors (such as falls, water damage, or wear and tear) are typically excluded by most manufacturers, even during the extended warranty period.
Filing a Claim
If your insured device is damaged, please report the issue to us through our service case process, which will guide you through the necessary steps. Claims for damages during the extended warranty period are handled exclusively by our insurance partner, bolttech Europe Agency GmbH.
